To find surface area you must add the area of each face (6 faces on a rectangular prism).

There will be 2 faces that are:

3.7 x 6

3.7 x 4.3

6 x 4.3

The area of these would be 22.2, 15.91, and 25.8 (in that order).

We multiply each by 2 sense the opposite side of each face are the same.

22.2 × 2 = 44.4

15.91 ×2 = 31.82

25.8 × 2 = 51.6

Now the sum of each of these will be the surface area of the prism.

44.4+31.82+51.6=127.82

Rounded to the nearest tenth is 127.8
