Given the measure of an acute angle in a right triangle, we can tell the ratios of the lengths of the triangle's sides relative to that acute angle. Here are the approximate ratios for angle measures 55, 65, and 75 degrees.

In the right triangle given:

With respect to angle L

• Opposite Leg length = 11.9 Units

,

• Adjacent Leg length = 3.2 Units

(Opposite\; Leg\; length)/(Adjacent\; Leg\; length)=(11.9)/(3.2)=3.72

Using the values in the table, the approximate value of angle L will be 75 degrees.
