A line equation in slope-intercept form is

y=mx+b

Then, to rewrite our equation in slope intercept form we just need to "isolate" the y variable on the left side of the equation.

Our line is

8x+20y=-120

Rewritting it, we have

\begin{gathered} 8x+20y=-120 \\ 8x+20y-8x=-120-8x \\ 20y=-8x-120 \\ (20y)/(20)=(-8x-120)/(20) \\ y=(-8x)/(20)-6 \\ y=-(2)/(5)x-6 \end{gathered}

This is our line equation written in slope intercept form.

y=-(2)/(5)x-6
