step 1

take two points of the line

(2,5) and (3,4)

step 2

Find the slope

m=(4-5)/(3-2)

m=-1/1

m=-1

step 3

Find the equation in point slope form

y-y1=m(x-x1)

we have

m=-1

(x1,y1)=(2,5)

substitute

y-5=-1(x-2)

y-5=-x+2

y=-x+2+5

y=-x+7
