(a)

The addition of constant number c to f(x) in a quadartic function y = f(x) results in shifting of graph of y = f(x) by c units upwards.

(b)

The addition of constant number c to x in a quadratic function y = f(x) resulys in shifting of graph of f(x) by c units towards left side.

(c)

The multiplication of -1 to f(x) in function y = f(x) results in mirror image of graph of function y = f(x) about y-axis (or a line parallel to y-axis passing through the vertex of graph of quadratic function).

Let us draw the graph of y = x^2 and y = -x^2.

(d)

Let y = x^2 + 2x.

Replace x by -x to obtain y = f(-x).

\begin{gathered} y=(-x)^2+2(-x) \\ =x^2-2x \end{gathered}

Plot the graph of y = f(x) and y = f(-x).

(e)

If c is multiplied with f(x) in the quadratic equation y = f(x), the graph of f(x)
