How can I place the sides in order from the longest (at the top) to shorters (at the bottom)?

We have the triangle DEF and we know the internals angles, 61° and 59°, anf the third angle is 180°-59°-61°=60°.

We could answer the question by inspection, an equilateral triangle has the three sides equal and his angles too, and equal to 60°.

In this case, the point E was moved a little down through the side D because the angle EDF remains in 60°, so this cause tha the angle DEF increases and the angle EFD decrease. With regard of the sides, the side DE decrease, the side DF remains constant and the side EF increase.

So, the longest side is EF because incresase, then DF because remains constant, and the shortest is DE because decrease.
