The equation of a line is:

y=mx+b

where m is the slope and b is the intercep in the y axis, so we can see that the intercept is b = 4 so now we can calculate the slope with this equation so:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

and we replace two point of the line so I can see ( 0,4 ) and ( 2,1 ) so:

\begin{gathered} m=(1-4)/(2-0) \\ m=-(3)/(2) \end{gathered}

so the correct equation is:

f(x)=-(3)/(2)x+4
