b.) Radius = 8 ft.

To be able to determine the volume of the cone, we will be using the following formula:


\text{ Volume = }(1)/(3)\pi r^2h

We get,


\text{ Volume = }(1)/(3)\pi r^2h
\text{ = }(1)/(3)\pi(8)^2(9)
\text{ = }(9)/(3)\pi(64)
=(3\text{ x 64)(3.14)}
\text{ Volume = 602.88 }\approx603ft^3

Therefore, the volume of the cone is 603 cubic feet.
