When rotating a figure 180 degrees, does it matter if you do it clockwise or counterclockwise? Briefly explain why.

When we rotate a two dimensional figure 180 degrees clockwise or anticlockwise about the origin, the final positions are the same. A clockwise or anticlockwise rotation of a figure with coordinates (x, y) will result to (- x, - y)

Thus, for such figures, it does not matter if you rotate it 180 degrees clockwise or anti clockwise
