According to the problem, we just have to sum the given functions f(x) plus g(x)


(f+g)(x)=f(x)+g(x)=-3x-5+4x-2

We just have to reduce like terms. -3x and 4x are like terms; -5 and -2 are like terms.


(f+g)(x)=x-7

Hence, the right answer is B.
