The x intercept is when y = 0.

We wrtie:

\begin{gathered} -5x+5\cdot0=10 \\ x=(10)/(-5) \\ x=-2 \end{gathered}

And the y intercept is when x = 0:

\begin{gathered} -5\cdot0+5y=10 \\ y=(10)/(5) \\ y=2 \end{gathered}
