Based on the phylogenetic tree, I would predict that it would be more difficult to develop a drug to treat a fungal infection than a bacterial infection of humans, as they are more related to us. This would make more difficult to find a target that doesn't affect humans, as they have many simmilarities in their molecular mechanisms than with bacteria, that to start with, are prokaryotic.
