By definition the dipole moment, μ, is the product of the magnitude of the separated charge and the distance of the separation:


|\mu|=|q1q2r|

so:


\begin{gathered} |\mu|=|4.4*10^(-9)\cdot-4.4*10^(-9)\cdot0.003| \\ |\mu|=5.808*10^(-20)Cm \end{gathered}
