Answer:

Smallest quantity is 40 kg

Largest quantity is 80 kg

(in case you need it the middle quantity is 60 kg)

Explanation:

In the ratio there are 9 total parts (2+3+4). If you divide the 180 kg by 9 you will get 20kg. You can now multiply the 20kg by each ratio (20×2, 20×3, and 20×4) to divide the sugar into the ratio.

20×2= 40 kg

20×3= 60 kg

20×4= 80 kg

Answer:

smallest: 40 kg, medium: 60 kg, largest quantity: 80 kg

Explanation:

divide into 2 : 3 : 4

find the total quantities: 2 + 3 + 4 = 9 quantities.

9 quantities → 180 kg

1 quantities →
(180)/(9) kg

1 quantities → 20 kg

Finding what the question asked for:

2 quantities → 20*2 → 40 kg

3 quantities → 20*3 → 60 kg

4 quantities → 20*4 → 80 kg
