1) Let's apply some formulas to get the volume of the following figures:

a) Since all sides are congruent this is a cube. The Volume of a cube is:

V =a³

V = 9³

V =729 mm³

b) In this Rectangular Prism we get the volume by the following formula:

V = a *b* c

V = 3 x 8 x 2

V = 48 km³

c) In this prism, we can find out the Volume by the Base Area (the square of 6 meters) times the height 8 then we can write:

V= Ab * h

V= 6² * 8

V = 36 * 8

V =288 m³

2) Hence, for these first three solids. The Volume is respectively:

729 mm³, 48 km³ and 288 m³
