x1,y1= (2,6)

x2,y2= (-6,-8)

We have to apply the slope (m) formula:

m = (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Replacing with the values given:

m=(-8-6)/(-6-2)= -14/-8 = 7/4 = 1.75
