The number of calories per minutes

We can see the line passes through points (0, 0) and (10, 200)

Then to find the number of calories per minute, divide the y-coordinate by the x-coordinate in the second point


\begin{gathered} Calories\text{ per min =}(200)/(10) \\ Calories\text{ per min = 20} \end{gathered}

(a) To find the number of minutes, reverse the answer above

Minutes per calorie = 1/20

(b) The slope of the line is the value of calories per min

Then the slope is 20 calories per min
