To find the GCF between two number. we have to find the same number that divides both of our numbers without reminder.

We can write 9 and 15 like.

\begin{gathered} 9=3\cdot3\cdot3 \\ 15=3\cdot5 \end{gathered}

We see that both numbers can be divides by 3 without reminder but we can divide 9 by 5 without a reminder.

So, the GCF of 9 and 15 is 3.
