Triangle ABC Is similar to triangle DEF. The measures of the side lengths are in cm. Which proportion can be used to find the length of EF in cm? A. EF and 6 = 7- and14 B. 6 and EF = 7 and 14 C. 6 and EF = 7 and 4 D. 14 and 20 = 6 and EF Were there is a word “and" you put a line in between them if that makes sense it's supposed to be a fraction.

1) Since Δ ABC ~ΔDEF let's find the missing side by setting proportions

\begin{gathered} (AC)/(DF)=(BC)/(EF)=(AB)/(ED) \\ (7)/(14)=(6)/(EF) \\ 7EF=\text{ 6}\cdot14 \\ EF=6\cdot2 \\ EF=12 \end{gathered}

2) So the length of EF is 12 cm
