Part A)

To find the ratio, find the total amount of items and the tota amount of medium size items by adding the numbers of the columns:

\begin{gathered} \text{Total number of ordered items }=40+60+80 \\ =180 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} \text{Total medium size items }=10+15+20 \\ =45 \end{gathered}

Next, divide the total amount of medium size items by the total amount of items and simplify the fraction:

(45)/(180)=(1)/(4)

Therefore, the ratio is 1:4.

Part B)

To find the percentage, write the ratio in a decimal representation and multiply it by 100:

\begin{gathered} (1)/(4)=0.25 \\ 0.25\cdot100=25 \end{gathered}

Therefore, 25% of each order will be size medium items.
