To determine the wetted surface when the depth of the water is 10 cm.

Dimesnsions;

Base area = 50cm by 100 cm , where

Length=100cm

breadth=50cm

Height = 30cm

Surface Area of the wetted rectangular glass is:

SA=2(lh+bh+bl)-lb
\begin{gathered} SA=2(lb+bh+lh)-lb \\ SA=2(100(50)+30(10)+100(10))-100(50) \\ S\mathrm{}A=2(5000+300+1000)-5000 \\ S\mathrm{}A=2(6300)-5000 \\ S\mathrm{}A=12600-5000 \\ SA=7600\operatorname{cm}^2 \end{gathered}

Hence the correct answer is 7600cm²
