Given function is,

f\mleft(x\mright)=4x+10.

To find f(-2), put x=-2 in the above equation

\begin{gathered} f\mleft(-2\mright)=4\mleft(-2\mright)\: +\: 10 \\ f\mleft(-2\mright)=-8+10 \\ f\mleft(-2\mright)=2 \end{gathered}

The answer is option C) 2.
