Let x represent the number you want to calculate.

If 3/4x>-24

You can solve this inequality following the same rules as solving an equation.

To reach the value fo x you have to fivide -24 by 3/4

\begin{gathered} (3)/(4)x>-24 \\ x>(-24)/((3)/(4)) \\ x>-24\cdot(4)/(3) \\ x>-32 \end{gathered}
