SOLUTION

The equation of a line written in slope-intercept form is

y=mx+b

Where

\begin{gathered} m=\text{slope } \\ b=y-\text{intercept } \end{gathered}

The y-intercept is the point where the line cuts the y-axis.

From the graph given, the line cut the y-axis at y= -2

the y-intercept is

(0,-2)

Hence, we have

\begin{gathered} \text{ Since b is the y-intercept, } \\ b=-2 \end{gathered}

Therefore

Answer ; b = -2

The second option
