This system of equations has NO solutions because 12 will never be equal to -6 . The systems of equations gives un the points ( the solutions) that belong to both lines ( where the lines intersect). Those lines are parallel and they will never intersect so it make sense that this system of equation has no solutions.

b.

This system of equations has infinitely many solutions because -16 will always equal -16. The systems of equations gives un the points ( the solutions) that belong to both lines ( where the lines intersect). Those lines are overlapping so it makes sense that this system of equations has infinitely many solutions because all the points that belong to one line will belong to the other too since the are overlapping.
