To perform a translation on a function we need to add a constant to it. If we want to move up and down we need to add or subtract a constant to the right side of the equation, if we want to move the function up we need to add the constant and if we want to move it down we need to subtract the constant. If we want to move the function left and right we need to add or subtract the constant to the independent variable.

When we subtract the independent variable by a constant we are moving it to the right. So if we have (x - 2) the function was moved 2 units to the right.

When we add a constant to the right side of the function we are moving the function up. So if we have (x - 2) + 3 we are moving it up.

Therefore the correct options are 2 and 3.
