y(he+b)=d+z

solve for y by dividing both sides by (he+b)

\begin{gathered} y(\mleft(he+b\mright))/(\mleft(he+b\mright))=(d+z)/(\mleft(he+b\mright)) \\ y=(d+z)/((he+b)) \end{gathered}

to solve for e start by dividing by y on both sides

\begin{gathered} (y(he+b))/(y)=(d+z)/(y) \\ he+b=(d+z)/(y) \end{gathered}

continue by substracting b on both sides

\begin{gathered} he+b-b=(d+z)/(y)-b \\ he=(d+z)/(y)-b \end{gathered}

divide by h on both sides to solve for e

\begin{gathered} (he)/(h)=(1)/(h)\cdot((d+z)/(y)-b) \\ e=(d+z)/(hy)-(b)/(h) \end{gathered}

ANSWER

y=(d+z)/((he+b))

e=(d+z)/(hy)-(b)/(h)
