To find the slope in a line. You need to choose two point in that line:

You have points coordinates: (x,y)

p1 : (2,5)

p2 : (6.7)

You draw two lines to form a right triangle with those two points and find the distance is y and the distance in x:

The slope is:

m=((y_2-y_1))/((x_2-x_1))
m=(2)/(4)

simplify:

m=(1)/(2)The slope of the given line is: 1/2
