We have 3 pairs of numbers and we have to identify the pair for which 1.75 is greater than the first but smaller thn the second.

The first pair is 0 and 1. The number 1.75 is greater than 0 but it is also greater than 1, so this pair does not satisfy the conditions we are looking for.

The second pair is 1 and 3/2. If we convert 3/2 to decimal we get 3/2 = 1.5. Because 1.75 > 1.5, this pair also does not satisfy the conditions.

The last pair is 3/2 and 1 9/10. If we convert this to decimal we get:

(3)/(2)=1.5<1.75
1+(9)/(10)=1+0.9=1.9>1.75

As the first number is smaller than 1.75 and the second is greater than 1.75, the conditions are satisfied: 1.75 is greater than the first number (3/2) and smaller than the second (1 9/10).
