13. A roller coaster is moving at a speed of 39 m/s. How much time does it take to stopwhile accelerating at -6 m/s2?

The average acceleration can be written as:


a=(\Delta v)/(\Delta t)

Then, for our case, we can find out the time taken by applying:


\Delta t=(\Delta v)/(a)\rightarrow\Delta t=(39)/(6)=6.5s

Then, the total time taken is equal to 6.5s
