The price is $7.70 a pound

You want to buy 0.11 pounds

Use cross multiplication to calculate how much you'll pay:

1pound_____$7.70

0.11pound___$X

x=(0.11\cdot7.70)/(1)=0.847

You'll pay ≅ $0.85. for 0.11pounds of chocolate.
