we have that

step 1

Find the unit rate

Divide total gallons by the total hours

so

12/2=6 gallons per hour

step 2

Multiply the unit rate by 10 hours

6(10)=60 gallons

step 3

Multiply the total gallons by $2.25

60(2.25)=$135

therefore

the answer is $135
