Hi! I don't have an exact question, but I'm kinda behind on what I'm supposed to be learning and I'm wondering if anyone can help me with percentages? I already have a lot of stuff done ahead of what I need, but I never got around to percentages lol.

(I don't need this answer anytime soon, take your time!)

Answer:

See below

Explanation:

Basically, percentages are how much a part is of a whole. We use the % symbol when describing percentages. As the word percentage has the term "per cent", this means per hundred, which is typically how percentages are based on.

For example, 45% means 45 out of 100. Think of how a dollar is worth 100 pennies, and 45 pennies make up 45% of those 100 pennies that contribute towards a dollar.

This is a simple explanation into getting started with percentages, but feel free to ask more questions if you have any!
