Area = base x height

Base = 12 cm

To find the height apply the trigonometric function:

Sin 60 = opposite side / hypotenuse

Sin 60= height / 20

Solve for height

Height = sin 60 * 20

Height = 17.32 cm

Back with the area formula

A = 12 x 17.32 = 207.85 cm2
