(4.68*10^6)/(2.6*10^2)

To solve the quotient between 2 numbers in scientific notation we have to perform 2 operations, one with the exponents of the notation and another between the numbers in the following way


\begin{gathered} (4.68*10^6)/(2.6*10^2)=(4.68)/(2.6)*10^(6-2) \\ (4.68*10^6)/(2.6*10^2)=1.8*10^4 \end{gathered}

So the answer is


1.8*10^4=18000
