The function is

y = f(x)

this means y is a function of x

if x = -4

then y becomes

y = f(-4)

we know that f(-4) is 8 from the question

therefore, y = 8

The coordinate point (-4, 8)

it lies on the second quadrant of the coordinate point

if you know that f(-4)=8, then what (x,y) coordinate point must lie on the graph of-example-1
