ANSWER

h(x) = -6x² + 12x - 5

Step-by-step explanation

First replace f(x) and g(x) here:

h(x)=f(x)-g(x)
h(x)=(3x^2+7x-4)-(9x^2-5x+1)

Then we have to eliminate the parenthesis. The terms of the second parenthesis will change sign:

h(x)=3x^2+7x-4-9x^2+5x-1

And finally add like terms:

\begin{gathered} h(x)=(3x^2-9x^2)+(7x+5x)+(-4-1) \\ h(x)=-6x^2+12x-5 \end{gathered}
