The vertex of a graph represents the minimum point of the graph.

Given the function to be


g(x)=(x+1)^2

We can have the graph as shown below:

From the graph above, the minimum point occurs at (-1, 0).

Hence, the vertex is given as


(x,y)=(-1,0)
