A large university accepts 50% of the students who apply. Of the students theuniversity accepts, 25% actually enroll. If 30,000 students apply, how many actually enroll?(Whole number)

If 30,000 students apply, then


30,000\cdot(50)/(100)=15,000

15,000 students are accepted. 25% of them, that is,


15,000\cdot(25)/(100)=3750

3750 students actually enroll
