we have the following:

f(x)=x^3-6x^2-11x+k

so, x + 2, x = - 2, replacing:

\begin{gathered} f(-2)=(-2)^3-6(-2)^2-11(-2)+k \\ 0=-8-24+22+k \\ k=8+24-22 \\ k=10 \end{gathered}

the value of k, is 10
