Determine the coefficient of friction between the box and the table when the frictional force is 260 N and the normal force is 650 N.

Given that frictional force , f= 260 N

and the normal force, N is 650 N

The formula to find coefficient of friction is


\mu=(f)/(N)

Substituting the values we get,


\mu=(260)/(650)=0.4

Thus, the coefficient of friction is 0.4
