We can estimate like this:

- 30 drips per minute is what leaks from the faucet.

- The, in 60 minutes there are 30*60=1,800 drips. That is per hour.

- Then, in a day (24 hours) we have more than 36,000 drips, close to 44,000 drips.

- If one gallon is close to 15,000 drips, the amount of water wasted is clos to 3 gallons.
