Drag the tiles to the boxes to form correct pairs. Not all tiles will be used. Match each linear equation to its slope and y-intercept. 3 slope:7, y-intercept: 2 --5+5y =4 7 slope:2, y-intercept: 2 : 57-3 =15 1 slope:5, y-intercept: 5 27-30=7 slope:5, y-intercept: 3 3 2 =5x+7 slope:-5, y-intercept: ID

In order to tackle this problem quickly, we need to study the three equations they gave us, and solve for y in all of them, thus revealing the slope and the y intercept directly from it:

We study one equation at a time:

Equation 5 y - x = 15

add "x" to both sides

5 y = x + 15

divide both sides by 5 to isolate y completely:

y = x/ 5 + 15/5

y = 1/5 x + 3

Then for this equation: slope is 1/5, and the intercept is 3

Equation - x + 5 y = 4

add x to both sides

5 y = x + 4

divide bothe sides by 5 to isolate y completely:

y = 1/5 x + 4/5

Then the slope is 1/5 and the intercept is 4/5

Equation 2 y - 3 x = 7

add 3x to both sides

2 y = 3 x + 7

divide bothe sides by 2 to isolate y completely

y = 3/2 x + 7/2

Then the slope is 3/2 and the intercept is 7/2

Equation 2 y = 5 x + 7

divide both sides by 2 to isolate y completely:

y = 5/2 x + 7/2

then the slope is 5/2 and the intercept is 7/2

Now you can move the boxes connecting the correct pairs.
