Here we want to pick a non-perfect square between 40 and 60

Non-perfect squares are numbers that do not have a square root

An example of a non perfect square in this case is 51

The closest perfect square to the number 49 is 7

The next perfect square to this number is 64 and it has a square root of 8

This means that the square root of 51 lies between 7 and 8

The next thing to do here is to divide 51 by 7

That would be 7.2857

Now find the average of 7 and 7.2857

That would be (7.2857 + 7)/2 = 7.14285

This is an approximate value for the square root of 51
