1)

need to calculate 3 areas and then sum

Triangle

\begin{gathered} A=(b* h)/(2) \\ \\ A=(5*2)/(2)=5 \end{gathered}

small rectangle

\begin{gathered} A=b* h \\ A=8*2=16 \end{gathered}

Big rectangle

\begin{gathered} A=b* h \\ A=13*5=65 \end{gathered}

so the total area is

\begin{gathered} 5+16+65 \\ =86 \end{gathered}

86 square units

2)

need to calculate3 areas and then sum

Triangle

\begin{gathered} A=(b* h)/(2) \\ \\ A=(8*5)/(2)=20 \end{gathered}

Rectangle

\begin{gathered} A=b* h \\ A=8*7=56 \end{gathered}

Half circle

\begin{gathered} A=(\pi* r^2)/(2) \\ \\ A=(3.14*(6)^2)/(2)=56.52 \end{gathered}

the total area is

\begin{gathered} 20+56+56.52 \\ =132.52 \end{gathered}

132.52 square units
