The formula for the area (A) of a sector is,

A=(\theta)/(360^0)*\pi r^2

Given

\begin{gathered} \angle NMP=120^0 \\ r=10cm \end{gathered}

Therefore,

A_s=(120^0)/(360^0)*\pi(10)^2=104.71975\approx104.72cm^2

Let us now solve for the area of the larger sector

\begin{gathered} \theta=360^0-120^0=240^0 \\ r=10cm \end{gathered}

Therefore,

A_l=(240^0)/(360^0)*\pi(10)^2=209.43951\approx209.44cm^2

Hence, the answers are

\begin{gathered} A_s=104.72cm^2 \\ A_l=209.44cm^2 \end{gathered}
