SOLUTION

From the diagram, the total outcome is 4

Probability of spinning A is


\begin{gathered} \frac{possible\text{ outcome for A}}{\text{total outcome }} \\ (1)/(4) \end{gathered}

Probability of spinning B is


\begin{gathered} \frac{possible\text{ outcome for B}}{\text{total outcome }} \\ (1)/(4) \end{gathered}

So probability of spinning A or B becomes


\begin{gathered} (1)/(4)+(1)/(4) \\ (2)/(4) \\ =(1)/(2) \end{gathered}

Hence the answer is
