Solution

For this case we have the following info:

V1= 3.61 L, P1= 1.23 atm

P2= 4.47 atm

We can assume that the T is constant so we can do this:

P1 V1 T2= P2 V2 T1

Therefore

P1 V1 = P2 V2

Solving for V2 we got:

V2= (P1 V1) /P2 = (1.23 atm* 3.61 L)/ 4.47 atm = 0.99 L
