2) Note that the function y= -x²-2x has a negative coefficient a, of minus 1. This indicates that the parabola, in the second function has been reflected. And since this f(x) function intercepts the y-axis at the origin and coefficient b is negative, that means the parabola after hitting the origin goes down.

2.2) We need to set a t-table so that we can locate the points and trace the parabola downwards:

So, we can plot the following points: (-2,0), (-1,1), (0,0), (1,-3) and (2,-8)

3) So, let's plot that so that we can visualize it:

Note that the f(x) function has also been translated to the left in comparison with y=x²
