Given the following points:

Point P: (-4, 3)

Point Q: (9, 14)

To be able to find the midpoint of the line segment, we will be using the following formula:

\text{ Midpoint = }(x_1+x_2)/(2),\frac{y_1+y_2_{}}{2}

We get,

\text{ Midpoint = }(x_1+x_2)/(2),(y_1+y_2)/(2)
\text{= }\frac{(-4)+(9)_{}}{2},\frac{3_{}+14_{}}{2}
\text{ = }(5)/(2),(17)/(2)

Therefore, the midpoint of the line segment is 5/2, 17/2.
